AI app builders compared: what people ship with each tool

PromptShipped lists 175 live apps from 165 builders, posted on X between August 13, 2026 and October 17, 2026. Claude: 43, Grok: 41, Lovable: 41, Other tools: 31, plus 19 across Codex, Cursor, Replit and Bolt. Below, each tool gets the same counts from our data: what its apps are for, where they're hosted, and what builders said about making them. Tools are ordered by number of apps, not by quality.
How we count
- Every approved app is counted once, under the tool its builder named. Aliases are merged (Claude Code counts as Claude, Grok Bot as Grok). Tools without their own page are grouped as Other tools.
- An app's main topic is the first of these tags it has: games, AI agents, productivity, business, creative, health, learning, dev tools. Some apps have none.
- "On a platform address" means the app runs on a grok.me, lovable.app, replit.app or bolt.new address rather than its own domain.
- Build stories are builder posts we logged that explain how the app was made: the prompt, the time it took, what broke, or results.
- Counts update within an hour of a new approved app.
