Games built with Grok: 17 browser games and how their builders made them

By Dmitry Piskun, editor (@nvr_settle) · Updated

These are the 17 games on PromptShipped that the builders say they made with Grok. Each one went public in an X post between October 15 and October 17, 2026, and each is free to open in a browser. For every game, this guide covers how you play it (taken from the game's own screen), what the builder said about making it, and a link to try it.

Numbers from our data (as of October 17, 2026):

  • 15 of the 17 games live on a grok.me address. One runs on Vercel and one on Cloudflare Pages.
  • 13 of the 17 launch posts use nearly the same words: "I built this with Grok — try it out." None of the 17 shared a prompt. Only one builder gave a build time.

How we picked these games

A game is on this page if all of these were true when we checked it:

  • The builder's own X post says they built it with Grok (this includes Grok Build and Grok Bot).
  • The link opens a game that's live and playable. All 17 loaded on October 17, 2026.
  • The game is approved in the PromptShipped directory, which also requires a real builder account (we skip brand-new accounts) and a brand-safe name.

The list isn't ranked. Games are grouped by type, and the "Picks" section near the end says exactly what each pick is based on.

What the builders' posts tell us about making games with Grok

We read every launch post, the builders' replies in those threads, and their other recent posts. Here's what stood out:

  • Most launches use the share wording. 13 of 17 posts say "I built this with Grok — try it out" or something very close, followed by the link. It reads like a ready-made share message, so most launch posts say nothing about how the game was made.
  • Three named a specific Grok product. @shortsbydaryl and @TeslaTakesOver both name Grok Build. @immaevolve credits Grok Bot. @brianlu365 says he used "a team of @bot agents," tagged #GrokBot.
  • One gave a build time. GymBro took "2 weeks," according to its builder. No other post states a time.
  • No one shared a prompt. If you're looking for prompts, xAI's own Grok Build page shows the prompt behind each of its demo apps (x.ai).
  • Other tools show up for sound. @foxmr507 credits the Creatures of the Loom soundtrack to Suno.
  • The builder's tag is on the page itself. 13 of the 15 grok.me pages include an x:creator tag naming the builder's X handle, which matches the person who posted it.

According to xAI, Grok Build publishes each app to its own grok.me address, lets you choose who can open it, and is "available on every plan" on the web, iOS and Android (xAI). That fits what we saw: 17 games from 16 builders in about 65 hours.

Arcade and score chasers

Skee Flash

What it is: a neon boardwalk skee-ball lane: nine balls, classic scoring rings, and a best score to beat.

How to play: the screen says it all: "Pull back and let go."

Build story: @shortsbydaryl says he built it with Grok Build and asks players to post their scores (post).

ROADSTER

What it is: jump a white thruster roadster over a Texas highway at night. The builder promises a jump scare.

How to play: hold to hop. Your thrusters refill whenever you're on the pavement, and a top-10 high-score board keeps the best runs.

Build story: @TeslaTakesOver posted it with "Play Roadster & get a jump scare!" (post). A few hours later he wrote that he's still "creating" it with Grok Build (post), and he told one player to "Play to level 4" (reply).

Ninjacat Strike

What it is: a top-down space shooter. You fly a ninjacat against waves of dogs and pick up octopus power-ups for multi-shot, a shield and speed.

How to play: move with WASD, the arrow keys or a left stick. Aim with the pointer or a right stick, and fire with Space or a click. On touch screens you drag the field. Esc or P pauses. A flight log records each pilot.

Build story: the share-wording post, plus one line from @CrenshawNews saying the community "needs to build things too" to show appreciation for the team and platform (post).

Cybertruck then Mars

What it is: a two-stage space race. You fly a Cybertruck to a moonbase, then switch to Starship and land at a Mars base.

How to play: hold for throttle and steer with A and D. A character called ACID guides you: "Moon first, then the ship."

Build story: the share-wording post only (post).

Pumpkin Pusher

What it is: a Halloween 3D coin pusher. You drop play coins (there's no real money) to shove plush prizes off the edge.

How to play: drop coins and collect prizes onto a prize shelf. A world top 10 ranks players by total coins won.

Build story: @immaevolve writes, "Grok Bot and I made another game," and jokes that anyone who wins her pets in the game gets to keep them (post). It runs on Cloudflare Pages, not grok.me.

Platformers

Gravioli Pill Fury

What it is: a pixel platformer starring an angry knitted hero in bunny slippers.

How to play: run and jump through each stage, grabbing every rainbow capsule and avoiding spikes and vinyl records, until you reach the flag. A stage-select screen lets you pick levels.

Build story: the share-wording post only (post). The same builder also made Scratchy Scratch, a browser turntable.

Creatures of the Loom

What it is: an action platformer. You play Vulpes-01, a knitted fox, through five halls of a living loom. A short film opens each world, and another introduces each hall's boss.

How to play: run with A and D, hold W to climb and let go to drop, and hold Space to fire shots that chase the nearest knot. On touch screens you drag anywhere. The builder's post names the Widow, the Chimera and the Hydra as bosses.

Build story: @foxmr507's launch thread lists the features and credits the soundtrack to Suno (post).

Adventure, RPG and escape

Candlecrypt

What it is: a 16-bit haunted-mansion escape. You need three relics to unbar the door, and "the dead would rather you stayed."

How to play: arrows to move, J to strike, K to cast a psalm, E to speak, H for an herb, Y for ether, P for the menu.

Build story: the share-wording post only (post).

Candle Crypt 2

What it is: the sequel, posted about 21 hours after the first game. Mira and Bram come back to light three candles (the hearth, the road, then the crypt) before the dead finish standing up.

How to play: arrows or WASD to move, Z to talk, search and confirm, X for the Vigil menu.

Build story: the share-wording post only (post). @DrKavarga is the only builder with two games on this list. He also made Sparebowl, a shelter-pet finder.

Wild Call

What it is: an original text adventure set in a living jungle, told in three acts.

How to play: choose the name on your token: Tracker (high nerve), Medic (high vitality), Scholar (good with carvings, maps and locked doors) or Pilot (balanced). Your token's stats decide what survives.

Build story: the share-wording post only (post).

Puzzle and hidden-object

Meberyl

What it is: a match-3 puzzle. You swap glossy sweets to build stripes, bursts and prisms, with a choice of day or night theme.

How to play: play "Today's tin" or work through the world map.

Build story: a few minutes after launching, @XavierDaMaxi posted that "Vibe building on @grok is a whole lot of fun" (post).

Where's Kat

What it is: a full-screen 1980s hidden-person hunt across three crowded scenes. The title screen reads "Three crowds · one fiancée."

How to play: drag to look around, pinch or scroll to zoom, and tap Kat when you spot her orange shades, color-block jacket, pink mesh and neon fanny pack.

Build story: @Adamwalkercodes posted it to Kat herself (post).

For kids

Brayland

What it is: a kid-safe clubhouse built for a child named Brayden, with a pirate-ship bunk room, a green out front and a room of toys. The mini-games are golf, a beam run, a mini race, and Halitosis, a mint-cloud gadget that knocks cans over. The page says it "never aims at a person."

How to play: tap the floor to walk and use the Look pad to turn the camera.

Build story: the share-wording post only (post).

Sweet Cruise

What it is: a calm 3D learning game. Kids sail between seven islands, each covering one subject: colors and shapes, counting, animals, letters, the outdoors, addition, and opposites.

How to play: pick an island and start. The game greets the player on the first island.

Build story: the share-wording post only (post).

Sandbox and sim

Hearthblock

What it is: a private, block-built 3D room you share with friends using a code. "The room stays after everyone leaves."

How to play: walk with WASD or a stick, and look with the mouse or by dragging. Press E to pick up a chair, table, lamp or chest, R to turn it, and P to paint a picture you can hang where everyone in the room sees it.

Build story: the share-wording post only (post).

ROADSTER: Cold Gas

What it is: a salt-flat physics toy with a cherry-red roadster. You take off on cold-gas thrusters, flip in the air and try to stick the landing.

How to play: W and S to drive, A and D to steer, Space for thrusters, F to kickflip, Q to backflip, R to reset.

Build story: the share-wording post only (post). It's one of several flying-roadster games posted on October 16 and 17. We list five more that were built with Claude.

GymBro

What it is: a gym-tycoon game. You open a gym in LA, keep the members happy and try not to go broke. The page calls itself "web v0," an early build of floor placement, members, cash and churn.

How to play: place, move and sell equipment on the gym floor.

Build story: @brianlu365 says he built it "in 2 weeks with a team of @bot agents" (post). When a player in the thread said the gym floor stayed blank in Chrome on a Mac, he suggested checking for a plugin that blocks JavaScript or trying an incognito window (reply). It runs on Vercel rather than grok.me.

Picks by what you want

Each pick is based only on what the game's own screen shows. None of these is a ranking.

  • Fastest to start (one control): ROADSTER ("Hold to hop") and Skee Flash ("Pull back and let go").
  • Play with friends: Hearthblock, the only game here built around a shared room code.
  • Touch controls described on the screen: Ninjacat Strike, Creatures of the Loom, Hearthblock, Where's Kat and Brayland.
  • Keeps a leaderboard or log: ROADSTER (top-10 high scores), Pumpkin Pusher (world top 10), Ninjacat Strike (flight log) and Skee Flash (best score).
  • Most structure stated up front: Sweet Cruise (seven islands), Creatures of the Loom (five halls), Wild Call (three acts) and Where's Kat (three scenes).
  • For young kids: Sweet Cruise and Brayland, which both describe themselves as made for children.

Make your own game and get it listed

  1. According to xAI, you describe the game in Grok, Grok Build makes a working version in the chat, and publishing gives it a grok.me link that you can open to anyone (xAI).
  2. Post the link on X and say you built it with Grok. Even better, tell people how: the prompt, the time it took, and what broke. None of the 17 posts here did, so a build story makes yours stand out.
  3. Make sure the link is public and the game loads, then submit it or wait for our next scan of X.

How this page is kept current

We re-check every game link, look for new build posts from these builders, and add newly approved Grok games about every two weeks. The date at the top changes only when the content does. If you're one of the builders and something here is wrong, tell us.
